Miller. 1-Seaforth.); General Service Medal 1918-62, G.VI.R., one clasp, Palestine (2819056 Pte A. Miller. Seaforth.); 1939-1945 Star (2819056 Cpl. A. Miller. Seaforths); Defence Medal (2819056 Sgt. A. Miller. Ox - Bucks L.I.); War Medal (2819056 Cpl. A. Miller. Seaforths.), nearly extremely fine or better, the Second World War Medals all impressed in sans serif capitals, together with the recipient´s certificate of service book and two photographs (5) Estimate £ 3,400-3,800M.M. London Gazette 6.11.1936 2819056 Sergeant Alexander Miller, M.M., born 1910; enlisted Seaforth Highlanders 29.7.1932; served in Palestine, Egypt and China. Wounded at Dunkirk, where most of his Battalion were wiped out. Transferred to the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry 30.12.1940, and served throughout the Second World War.
