A ´Heavy Brigade´ D.C.M. Group of Three to Sergeant E. Needham, 6th Inniskilling Dragoons Distinguished Conduct Medal, V.R. (Corpl. Edward Needham. 6th Inniskn. Drags.); Crimea 1854-56, three clasps, Balaklava, Inkermann, Sebastopol (434. Sergt. E. Needham. 6th Dgns.), a post 1873 issue, officially engraved in serif capitals, similar to South Africa 1877-79 naming, lug missing from last clasp; Turkish Crimea, British die, pierced for suspension as issued with double ring, edge bruising overall, otherwise very fine (3) Estimate £ 2,500-3,500D.C.M. Recommendation dated 3.1.1855 ´Sergeant Rowe, Corporal Tooth and Needham, and Privates Parsons, Patterson, Donlon, and Fletcher, received the medal with gratuity [£10] for Distinguished Conduct in the Field [for services in the Crimea].´ (´The Inniskilling Dragoons´, Major E.S.
