A Japanese Army Offiicer´s Wakisashi With 231/4 in. (59cm) blade, signed Kane Mune, with arsenal stamp of 1942, copper sleeve, regulation solid cast brass tsuba with raised decoration, bronze ferrule and rayskin-covered grip with brown tsuka-ito, gilt menuki and brass pommel, in its black lacquered wooden scabbard with leather sleeve fastened by three press-studs at the throat.
