x 1841 printed entire with blue decorative border to address panel, the interior and side flaps with printed bookseller´s list of ´Charles Smith, English & Foreign Bookseller, & Stationer´, also in blue, addressed to Ayr, obverse with red Edinburgh Paid c.d.s. of 13 May and manuscript ´1´, the reverse with superb strike of the black fancy-framed ´too late´; light vertical folds in no way detracting from the wonderful appearance of this extremely rare early advertiser.
