Crime and Punishment Crimes Burglary 1823 (18 Feb.) entire letter addressed to Andover from the headquarters of the Gloucester Bank, the interior containing a printed warning to other banks that their branch in Cheltenham had been ´Burglariously broken into, and the Notes as below (amongst others) were stolen, viz….´ then goes on list the serial numbers and issue dates of the missing banknotes; light folds.
