Virgin Islands 1887-89 Crown CA Issue Covers 1888 (24 Oct.) OHMS envelope (217x95mm.) registered to Paris, bearing 1d. rose (8) and 4d. chestnut in combination with 1883 1/2d. dull green, all cancelled "A13" and showing "R" in oval h.s., Tortola and French transit c.d.s. on face, arrival c.d.s. on reverse; the envelope with some soiling on face panel though an attractive and unusual franking.
