x Cook Islands 1892 1d., 11/2d., 21/2d. and 10d. tied by fine light strikes of the purple ´rarotonga´ in oval of bars on clean 1893 (Jan.) envelope registered to U.S.A., corresponding c.d.s. in the same colour below, the reverse with superb purple circular ´government of the cook islands´ ´small star´ cachet; a few faintly toned perfs. and 10d. with light crease at top-right in no way detracting from the wonderful appearance.
