Nigeria. 1956), edge knocks, therefore good very fine, in case of issue and outer card box Estimate £ 100-120 R.V.M London Gazette 3.2.1956 ´William Vincent Jenkins, Inspector of Works, Nigeria´ In a letter dated 10.8.1965, Mrs D Jenkins wrote ´The medal was given to my husband by H.M. the Queen when she visited Nigeria in 1956. He was working for the Government at the time and was chosen to drive H.M. on her 2 weeks tour around the country, and afterwards was presented to the Queen and Prince Phillip, when she gave him the medal.´
