Robinson, Pudsey, Leeds, Yorkshire, with named condolence document (3) Estimate £ 240-280 631370 Aircraftman Allen Robinson, Royal Air Force, was serving as AC 2nd Class Wireless Operator (Air) with 115 Squadron (Marham) during the Battle of France. He was killed during Operation Dinant, a bombing raid over enemy positions in the Dinant-Meuse bulge, when his Wellington R3152 KO-J was brought down over Le Harve during the night of 21/22.5.1940. The crew are buried in Ste. Marie Cemetery.
