An Edwardian Sealed Pattern Bicorne Hat for Royal Artillery An unusually tall cocked hat (81/2 in. fan), by W. Stone 20 Old Compton St. SOHO, London W, of black beaver, with black oakleaf lace binders, black silk cockade, loop consisting of a gilt metal strip stamped to resemble "Broken Bias" lace, secured by a large KC RA button, the tassels also formed of gilt metal, stamped to resemble wire-work, black glazed leather internal headband with pleated cotton lining above, with label dated 1903 attached, stating that this is Sealed Pattern No. 1664 for Master Gunners RA See illustration Estimate £ 120-180
