NORTH BORNEO Covers and Cancellations 1884 (21 May) envelope ex the Locke correspondence from Elopura to England, bearing 1883 perf. 12 2c. red-brown pair sharing Elopura 14-bar oval in combination with Straits 1882 10c. slate vertical pair each with double-ring "singapore/p.o.", each pair sharing a set of manuscript initials of the sender, Mrs. Ada Pryer, fine "elopura" c.d.s. in red at left, part Singapore Paid and arrival c.d.s. on reverse; the envelope with some minor staining and other small faults though a very rare combination franking and only the second recorded with the oval of 14 bars.
