Iris, off the coast of Labuan, via Southampton to his wife in London and redirected to Brighton, showing "packet-letter/portsmouth" and, on reverse, the flap marked "Decr 16th and 31st. Borneo & Labuan" and four U.K. transit c.d.s. Estimate S$ 1,200-1,500 Note: The period covered by the endorsement was that during which the Treaty with the Sultan of Brunei was signed by Capt. Mundy, which included the cession of Labuan and it's surrounding islands
