Charles I, Tower mint, Shilling, 6.00g., group C, type 2b, m.m. plume, third bust, bust 2, bust of king wearing ruff and plain armour left, small crown, reads brit fr et hib, rev., oval garnished shield, Welsh plumes dividing c r above, five pellets after christo and either side of mintmark, four pellets after avspice (Sharp C2/4; c.f.
