RESTITVTORI, Britannia seated and holding her trident and shield, beside her an olive-branch resting upon a book, BRITANNIA MDCXCVII in exergue in two lines, 71mm, 106.74g (Eimer 372; MI ii, 192/499), a scattering of contact marks largely to reverse field and the most minor of edge bruises after 12 o'clock, nevertheless with a full glossy lustre, the dark grey surfaces enhanced by flashes of blue and ochre toning, a most handsome extremely fine, a rare medal in this metal
