LARGITVR, radiant sun rising over calmer sea, upon which a birds nest floats, M • D • C • XCVI, in exergue, 38mm, 24.66g (van Loon IV, 221), some slight doubling to obverse legend, with a small hairline below right-hand figure of wind, otherwise with a rich cabinet tone, in hues of ochre and blue to lustrous fields, much as struck, scarcely encountered in this condition
