Great Britain. Churchill - Battle of Britain Commemorative Medal, 1942. Cast Lead, uniface, 70mm. By F.J. Halnon. Emitted by the British Red Cross and the St. John Fund, London; cast by London Stonecraft Ltd. Churchill bust left, cheroot in mouth. Originally attached to a piece of stone rubble recovered from the damaged House of Commons after a 1941 air raid. Engstrom 8a. No longer attached to the stone (just a minute amount of residue remains) and no Bradley certificate. Extremely Fine.
