Girolamo Callagrani, later Bishop of Mondovi (1490-1497) Medal. Silver, 54mm. Capped bust right, rev. SPES.MIHI.SOLA.FIDES, Hope standing left, balancing globe on her finger and patting dog seated by her side, radiant sun-face before her. Hill 931; Armand II, 64, 14. Only three other recorded examples -- all not silver. This is the only specimen in silver. Extremely Fine, an attractive old cast. Ex Baldwin Sale 100-101, September 28, 2016, lot 3733.
