(m.m.) A '• DNO '• FACTV .' EST • ISTVD ET • EST • MIRAB •' IN • OCVL •' NRS .' Royal Shield set atop Tudor Rose, spandrels plain, 14.98g, 2h, m.m. tun (Comber 24; Holloway 18-24; Brown and Comber A26 [Type i b]; Schneider I, 783; North 2003; Spink 2529), creased and rubbed resulting in a soft portrait, nevertheless a pleasant example with natural toning in recesses, a bolder fine, especially to peripheries, and not recorded in Holloway's corpus of 50 known examples, in NGC holder, graded AU Details ~ Graffiti (Cert. #6295175-001)
