Kindelberger, President, opining that the greatest aviation achievement for the year 1934 was the Douglas Transport; 2) Three pages typed on Transcontinental & Western Air letterhead, April 29, 1935, signed by Jack Frye, President who offers the perfection of the Sperry Gyropilot as the 1934 outstanding achievement; 3) One page, May 3, 1935, typed on War Dept. letterhead, signed by Brig. Gen. C. Westover, Air Corps in reference to the recommendation of Capt. A.F. Hegenberger, USAAC for the 1934 trophy. Fine. [3]
