Chinese Silver Figure Riding Longma (Dragon-horse). 19th-early 20th Century. 5" high. 4.94 OZ. Smiling figure holding fan behind his back and a bundle of bamboo reeds rides intricately made longma. The figure may be that of Zhang Guolao, one of the eight Immortals, who is normally portrayed carrying a fish drum - a tube-shaped bamboo drum and phoenix feather behind his back, riding a "white mule", or the monk Xuan zang. Unmarked. The dragon-horse's tail is broken off.
