Herbert George (H.G.) Wells (English author of The Island of Dr. Moreau and the War of the Worlds) (1866-1946) - clippsed autograph on laid paper (approx 5.2"x1.2"), with accompanying envelope and covering letter from the Executive Secretary of the Diabetic Association, of which Wells was President, noting that Wells' signature was enclosed. A nice signature from one of the fathers of science fiction.
