Sir Walter Scott (Scottish Poet & Novelist) (1771-1832) - autograph letter signed, on bifolium stationery (approx. 9"x7.25") dated Edinburgh, 1830 (likely a filing notation, not in Scott's hand), unidentified recipient, Scott writing that he has not heard from the Duke of Buccleuch (at the time, Walter Montagu Douglas Scott), filing folds, and reinforced at center, still a fine letter from this author of such classics as Ivanhoe and Rob Roy.
