Mathewson, Christopher -- "Christy" (1880-1925). Known as "Big Six" and "the Gentleman's Hurler", right-handed pitcher, played 17 seasons for the New York Giants, one of the most dominant pitchers in baseball history, ranking in the top 10 in many key categories including wins, shutouts and ERA; one of first five members of the Baseball Hall of Fame. Autograph Signature. Mathewson signs: "Yours truly, Christy Mathewson" in black on a pale tan cut paper, 3 x 1 ½". A very difficult autograph to find.
