Ambrose Bierce (American journalist and author of the Devil's Dictionary, Civil War veteran) (1842-1914) - frontispiece from a limited Author's Edition of an unidentified book, unnumbered, approx 5"x7.25", signed Ambrose Bierce in pencil. Bierce disappeared in 1914 after traveling to Mexico to report on the revolution. A clean signature of one of the most influential journalists of his time.
