Rockefeller, John Davison, Jr. (1874-1960). American financier and prominent member of the Rockefeller family. Autograph Letter Signed "John D. Rockefeller, Jr.". One page on note paper, 4 7/8 x 6 ¼", Seal Harbor, ME Aug. 26, 1913. Writing to a Miss Butterfield, Rockefeller says he is in sympathy with "purposed circular" and is "entirely willing to be one of nine to sign it as requested by Dr. Eliot." He then asks who the other signers are. He signs below. Very Fine.
