Lindbergh, Charles Augustus. Famed aviator, flew first solo nonstop transatlantic flight - from NY to Paris in the "Spirit of St. Louis", May 20-21, 1927. Signed Photo. 5 5/8 x 3 ½ " Original B&W photo of Lindbergh standing on the deck of the "Memphis" on his way home from his historic flight. He signs at right "C.A. Lindbergh" in black. Rare. Accompanied by 3 1/3 x 4 ¾ B&W of Lindbergh and official at event, saluting Air Corps officer and policemen in background. Photographer's notes on the back "I was nicely bawled out for taking this one…." Very Fine.
