Great Britain. Pair of 1907 Pattern Bayonets. Indian manufacture, Rifle Factory, Ishapore, August and Dec. 1917. Wooden grip. Maker's mark - RFI, crowned GR, date 1907, 8 17; 10 17; and other marks at ricasso. Both with original blade length of 16 ¾" - many were shortened to 12" for service in WWII. Leather scabbards (the latter soft) with metal fitting with almond-shaped studs. The former Very Fine, the latter rust on fittings and pommel, Fine. (2)
