Great Britain. Highland Officer's Cross-Hilt Broadsword. Ca. 1910-1914. Royal Scot Fusiliers. Wire-wrapped fishskin grip, bun pommel and ball quillon; finely etched, 32 ½" blade with crowned George V monogram and insignia of the Royal Scots Fusiliers, proof mark at ricasso, LONDON MADE on flat edge. Light brown, field service scabbard. Cross-guard a bit loose, light stain to the blade and scuffing to scabbard, otherwise a Very Fine sword.
