Great Britain. 1895 Pattern Infantry Officer's Sword. By J & B Pearse & Co., 28 Floral St, London. Nickel-plated steel half-basket hilt with royal monogram of George V, fish-skin wrapped grip, pommel with small ball finial. 32 1/3" single fullered blade with etched crowned and radiant George V monogram, maker's name and PROVED P brass inset at ricasso, brass scabbard with two rings. Some rust on basket, light staining. A Fine sword.
