Great Britain. 1796 Pattern Light Cavalry Trooper's Sword. By Dawes, Birmingham. Iron single bar stirrup guard, blade with pronounced curve, maker's name on flat edge; wood grip, large heavy iron scabbard, stamped "G 67" with two rings. Has seen much usage. Grip cracked, rust. Fine.
