Fine Russian Silver and Enamel Large Basket. By Dmitri Nikolaevich Nikolaev, Moscow, late 19th Century. 4 ½" diameter, 2 ½" height (4 ½" with handle raised). Attractive floral pattern in cornflower, periwinkle and royal blues, white and red enamels. Maker's mark "??" and kokoshnik "84(head left)?" at bottom and again inside rim base.
