Russian Silver Coin Purse. By unknown St. Petersburg maker, JAL, ca. 1881-1882. Oval, 3 1/3 x 2 1/3". With chain. Etched towers and citywalls on top face, quadrilobe pattern on bottom. Maker's mark "JAL" and combined city and standard marks on both faces. 52.8 gms. Test scratches on inside.
