A Qajar Lacquer Papier-Mâché Pen Box (qalamdan), dated AH 1322 (1904 AD). 9 1/3" length, 1 1/3" height. A fine Persian pen box depicting amorous scenes from the haft peykar. Dated and with uncertain signature. Sliding, with floral gold red interior sides. A few minor scuffs. Attractive.
