Walton, George Walton (1749-1804). Signer of the Declaration of Independence representing the State of Georgia. Document signed. 1 page, folio, February 23, 1785. Justice of the Peace Walton signs a legal petition for a writ of attachment. Also signed twice by Nathaniel Pendleton, a friend of Alexander Hamilton. Pendleton was his second at the Burr-Hamilton duel. Centerfold split, otherwise fine. The Walton signature is bold.
