Partie Occidentale du Canada et Septentrionale de la Louisiane avec partie de la Pensilvanie. By Jean Baptiste Bourguignon d'Anville (1697-1782). Published by Paolo Santini, Venezia 1775. 22 ¾ x 19 ¼". Copperplate engraved, hand colored. Good depiction of the Great Lakes and upper Mississippi region, with numerous French forts. Scarce and one of the best large format maps of the region done in the latter part of the 18th Century. Some light foxing, otherwise. Very Good. Matted and framed, 31 ¾ x 28 ½".
