Copperplate engraved, hand colored. Attractive map of Eastern Canada, from New York to Lake Mistassini and the Atlantic coastline from Long Island to Newfoundland. Title and impressum on draped banner hanging from tree above a canoe, a beaver (drawn by an artist who had never seen a beaver) beside it. A few faint dirt spots. Very Good. Matted and framed, 31 7/8 x 28 ¾".
