Sunflower Gold Mining Company (Colorado) 1898. 5000 shares. No .92. Green, yellow and brown sunflowers. Fully issued and not cancelled ("5000" is spelled out in a series of small perforations as protection against alteration). Extremely Fine. One of the most unusual and graphically pleasing stock certificates of any genre, and this is certainly one of the finest known. Only a small quantity of these turned up in the 1990s, and they were instantly snapped up by avid scripophilists. Rarely seen at public auction.
