Matted with typed narrative below: "In taking over an area south of ARRAS we billeted for two nights at HURTIBISE FARM near PAS. This shows my transport lined up outside the farm under camouflaged covers." On the back the artist writes" "R engineer transport waiting to move forward to the attack (evening) South of Arras". No signature visible (possibly covered by matting).
