2 Ducat 1765, Karlsburg, gold, (6.99g). Obv. diademed short bust right, rev. imperial double-headed eagle with coat of crowned arms of Transylvania on breast, value below, ref. KM 631. Fr. 540.


Despite some hairlines, on the left reverse mainly, due to a light cleaning, a beautiful example of this rare type coin featuring a strong strike. Definitely a choice AU coin, rare.
