First Prince of Wagram, 1st Duc de Valangin, 1st Sovereign Duc de Neuchâtel; Marshal and Vice-Constyable of France, Chief of Staff to Napoleon and often called his "right-hand man", assisted in the coup d'etat of 18 Brumaire, becoming Minister of War for a time. Document Signed "Alex. Berthier". Folio. One and a quarter page memo from the Armée d'Orient, 88e demi-Brigade regarding the service of various citizens in the army.
