Russia. Romanov Tercentenary Commemorative Cross Badge, 1913. Silver, gilt and enamels. Equilateral Cross on studded circle with white, blue, green and red enamel on front, "Cap of Monomakh" above, three teardrops below. On the back, in Church Slavonic: ΓOCΠOДEMЪ ЦAPIE ЦAPCTBYЮTЪ ("By the Lord King's Rule"), dates 1613 - 1913 below, crowned M (for Mikhail) and crowned Π II (Nicholas II) either side. Maker's mark 'БK' and kokoshnik '(head)84' top back. Given to members of the Orthodox clergy who participated in the Tercentenary ceremonies.Top arm of Monomakh cross broken off. Some enamel restoration. Otherwise Extremely Fine.
