German-born American artist, best known for his caricatures and political cartoons, mainly relating to Democratic Representative "Boss" Tweed and the Tammany Hall Democratic party political machine. 12" x 6" pen and ink cartoon of a man with a trumpet hiding under a bed, printed signature, "Th. Nast." Very Fine, with some mounting remnants on the back.
