Wordsworth, William (1770-1850). English poet who, along with Samuel Coleridge, helped launch the Romantic Age in English literature. Letter signed "William Wordsworth", the text in the hand of his wife Mary, 1 page, 8vo. To an unknown recipient. "On the other side is a list of Errata some of which are so important and so mischevious to the sense that they may be struck off instantly upon a slip of paper..." Tipped on to a paper matte. The left margin has a long split, and a small piece of paper is missing where the wax seal was attached. From the Collection of Diana Herzog.
