Wodehouse, P. G. (1881-1975). English author and humorist. Typed letters signed. Jan. 18, 1973 and March 4, 1973. Remsenburg, Long Island, New York. Proposal from International Associates Corporation, New York, to acquire the "…exclusive stage, screen and television rights, both in the United States and abroad, to all of the names and characters "Jeeves" and "Bertie Wooster" who you have so artfully created." The two letters are to "Arnold." Both concern granting the rights of approval for "Jeeves." These letters probably relate to the 1975 Andrew Lloyd Webber musical "Jeeves." Both signed "Plum."
