Webster, Daniel. (January 18, 1782-October 24, 1852). Letter (in the hand of an amanuensis) signed by Webster and countersigned by "Th. Perkins." 2 3/4 pp. 4to. Washington. May 16, 1836. To Joseph R. Williams at Toledo, Ohio. Perkins and Webster "...have agreed to join in some investments in lands in your part of the country, and we propose to place a sum in your hands for that purpose, to be invested on the same terms and conditions as you invest in other funds for me..." Minor splits along the centerfold. Minor age toning, but otherwise Very Good. Also included is a hand-written draft for $296, endorded on the verso by Daniel Webster, and an image of Webster, drawn from life, and engraved by James B. Longacre.
