Milne, Alan Alexander (1882-1931). English author best known for Winnie-the-Pooh. ALS, 8vo. 2 1/2 pages. "After midnight, Friday."(No place or actual date is mentioned, and there are notes to himself in parentheses. Perhaps a draft for letters Milne intended to write.) "...Seaman has just announced that he is going away to Cape Martin or some horribly jolly place after the 26th....Wells [H. G. Wells] found me...yesterday and took me to the weekly dinner of a little club to which he belongs...My tea party was a great success." Milne then quotes some dialog. Signed "Your loving Alan."
