1916 Medal, reverse officially named '366 Thomas Dunne.', with General Service Medal 1917-21 top riband bar, extremely fine, in original box of issue with 'Tricolour' silk lining.

Two men with the name of Thomas Dunne are listed on the 1916 Roll, one serving with the General Post Office Garrison, and one with the Four Courts Garrison. Both were captured by the British.

Two men with the name of Thomas Dunne were killed in action during the War of Independence and Civil War, the first from Loughlinstown, Dublin, who was killed at Ballybrack Royal Irish Constabulary Barracks, Co. Dublin, 20.5.1920; and the second from Carlow Gate, Co. Kildare, who was killed at Castledermot, 16.6.1922.
