                        China. Ca. 118 BC-221 AD. Bronze Mold for Wu-Tzu Coinage. Approximately 2 7/8 x 9 inches, ¼ inch thick, neck end 1 7/8". Complete half of a mold. Two rows of six cash each on either side of main channel. On the bottom of the surface is a raised pin that would enter a hole in the other half of the mold to keep it in position. Two raised oval "feet" on back. Heavy green, olive-green patination.
