Large crown, REX inscribed upon it; +EDV?RDVS.A(NGLIE), rev. Cross calvary, limbs terminating in open trefoils, lower limb divides legend; (+MON)ETA-DVPLEX. Galata 107B-(2/b), Elias 89 (RR), S.8086, B.499, Poey d'Avant 2885, Dup.1087. Very Rare, and much rarer than Elias indicates, this specimen is the first offered in public auction since the Elias sale in 1990. Some flatly struck areas. Deep gray. Very Fine.
