On 1940 Idaho 3 Cents; Samuel I. Rosenman, presidential speechwriter and senior advisor to FDR and Harry S. Truman. On 3 Cents Texas Centennial with Rosenman-signed typed 1943 letter on White House stationery sent with autograph, James Farley, postmaster-general under FDR. On 1 Cent Washington with Farley-signed 1940 typed letter sent with autograph; Fred A. Seaton, Secretary of the Interior (1956-1961) on block of four 4 Cents Flag; George W. Norris (1861-1944), Nebraska politician, leader of progressive and liberal causes in Congress. On 2 Cent, with secretarial letter on Senate letterhead; Sol Bloom, entertainment impresario and NY politician. On a 4 1/2 Cent White House, accompanied by signed typed 1939 letter from Bloom sent with autograph; Albert L. Reeves (1873-1971), federal judge. On 1 Cent For Defense, accompanied by Reeves signed typed 1941 letter sent with autograph; federal prosecutor Kenneth W. Starr on older 3 Cent commemorative; Non-Stamp autographs: William H. Seward, Secretary of State (1861-1869) engineered purchase of Alaska. Signature on small paper slip; Hamilton Fish (1808-1893), statesman, 16th Governor of NY. Signed on white card with date Feb 8/77; also signed typed letter from Illinois Senator Scott W. Lucas, 1947 regarding the confirmation of David Lilienthal as chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission.
